Paris UNFCCC (2015)

In December 2015, over 36,000 participants gathered in Paris for COP 21—one of the most pivotal climate conferences in history. With world leaders, scientists, and civil society uniting, the aim was bold: a universal, legally binding agreement to combat climate change.

After days of intense negotiations, diplomacy, and collaboration, the landmark Paris Agreement was adopted—committing nations to limit global warming to well below 2°C, and ideally 1.5°C. This historic accord redefined international climate cooperation and set the stage for a sustainable future.
